We had a user moved to a new domain before checking in files. How can we remove the check out status as an admin?
I've had to do it several times; it's not too difficult:
Log in as admin
Search for the file(s)
Click the <i> icon to get the commonspace information
Select Actions > Undo Checkout
Check the Event Manager for confirmation/errors
Undo checkout is not an option for the files. We are using Windchill 8.0 M040. I ended up deleting the version with a failure override option to remove the file from the workspace. We lost changes that were not uploaded or checked in, but we are able to work with the files again.

Ah, in that case:
1. Upgrade to Windchill 9.1 (we had Fishbowl do ours and they were great).
2. Follow my instructions above.
