New Document at higher than default revision

Windchill 9.1 m060, is it possible to create a new document in the Library at some other revision level than the default. We use alpha revisions for prototype and numeric for production. This workswell for the CAD side, since we usually do prototype builds before production. For library MSWord documents, they usually start at revision 0. Currently, we enter them in at Rev A and then revise the document to Rev 0. This leaves the rev A, which we really do not need or want. Is it possible to setup a different Revision scheme for documents than parts?

You can only register one State Based Version series, via this file

And configured via lifecycle like this

And specified via OIR like this

///
But - If you assign a different Lifecycle for WTDocument vs EPMDoc & WTPart, it can have a different Revision Series specified also in the OIR for WTDocs.

When you create a Product from the OTB example "Design" template it utilizes both, in order to provide examples of each (note - there is not much documentation about this - many people are stuck with unwanted configurations because of not understanding what is in the template).
