New User Creation

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to find a way to create a Windchill 9.0 m050 user outside of Windchill. Has anyone had any experience doing this sort of thing that could tell me where to start?

It is going to be driven by a web form that will allow for faster creation of users.

Having such a process inside Windchill would be great - possibly via a workflow tied to creating a certain subtype of document?

Have your web form / service create load csv / xml files (structured per
Windchill load file format) to a location that can be picked up Windchill.
Develop a Windchill schedule queue / workflow command robot to load users
from these csv / xml files.

Our key desires in such a process are:
a) Allowing either the to-be user or a supervisor to initiate the process
b) Allowing for selecting appropriate group membership for the new/modified user (which is what gets approved)
c) Routing appropriately for approval and admin processing

Saving a few keystrokes of typing for user account creation is secondary

We have an extensive spreadsheet outside Windchill that tracks all user info, including department cost charge-backs - would have to integrate with or replace that as well.
