Can Document numbers be changed to Part Numbers and vise-versa by modifying attributes?
To change the system Number of either a WTPart or WTDocument use the Rename Action. This requires permissions to "modify identity" on the Object Type and State. If you're logged in with Administrator credentials you probably have these.
