Oracle DBF Corruption

Hi All,

On one of our DB servers we had a power outage and it seems that the DBF
files are corrupted since I am not able to login to oracle as the db user. I
have given the entire explanation and exhausted method on the below Link. I
am sure that this issue is entirely Oracle DB issue, but some insight on the
issue is really appreciated. At this moment we cannot rehost any other
server on this machine.

Hi Rohan, from my experience I would simply revert back to the previous days backup and cut your losses. You could easily spend a few days to a week trying to recover a days' worth of work...thus keeping your team out of action even longer.

If you are serious about recovering this information you need to contact an Oracle DBA consultant ASAP and task him with putting this back together. Even if there is an easy fix out there, the time it takes to get it and get it working can be longer than expected where an expert can evaluate and move forward immediately.

Anyways, just my .02c
