PDMLink BOM Report with thumbnails?

Does anyone know if it's possible to have thumbnails inserted into a report, when generating a BOM report from a product structure? Is it then possible to export everything to excel, including the thumbnails?

I am also looking for same functionality. But in current releases of windchill its not possible, it requires addtional customization for exporting this thumbnails to Excel format as per discussion with PTC.

Thumbnails are not necessary for me.

Go to Utilities->import Export Management->Export->Give file name.xls->In object seach item which you want to export.

Can anyone provide an update to this situation?   The original post was 5+ years ago, has anything changed?   The reason I ask, is that I have been asked to do the same thing at my company....

Guess I can answer my own question.   I logged a call with PTC Tech Support (CS12767642), and they confirmed that this is not OOTB functionality.  Still.

I created a product idea / enhancement request for this as well.
