PTC Navigate license

Hi

We have a number of licenses, PTC Navigate Contribute and PTC Navigate Author. We are not using the modular interface but the standard Windchill browser interface.
To what legacy license types (Windchill light & heavy) does this relates ?
Are you allowed to run Creo with a Navigate Author or are these (Contribute & Author) solely for non Cad work ?

Hi,

Which version of Windchill are you running? Do you mean you have a mix of perpetual licenses (heavy & light) and Navigate packages, ie. the mentioned PTC Navigate Contribute and PTC Navigate Author?

I'm in that boat, it's a lot of fun figuring out the license profiles  🙂   From that perspective, looking at the capabilities (Profile Actions) of the profiles, I'd say there's no relationship.

Hi

 

We are still running 10.2, next year 12.0.

I just want to make sure we can run the plain old Windchill interface with the Navigates.

Then PTC can't complain again.
