Primary content source default value

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.5

During the creation of a new part or document. we notice an attribute named 'Primary Content Source' with default type as local file. Can we change the default value to 'No content' for a specific sub type?

Its an attttibute like any other right?
