I am using Pro/INTRALINK r3.4 M062 (Client) with Wildfire 4.0 M180. When I first launch Pro/I and then launch Wildfire from within Pro/I, everything works fine for a while. But sometimes when I go back into the Pro/I Workspace and, for example, refresh the Workspace, the Workspace goes blank and I get the message “Could not launch external application ‘loadinpro’. This can happen if external application is not found or incorrect parameters are passed to the application ‘loadinpro’ application is used by Pro/Intralink to communicate with Pro/Engineer which must already be running..’ Does anyone have any ideas what might be wrong? Thanks!
I found answer to this problem: The "Wildfire 4.0" application "loadinpro" was being blocked by the client machine firewall. Once I set a firewall exception for "loadinpro" the problem stopped.
