Question on simple functionality

When you have modified a part in your workspace and have it checked out. When you check it back in can you have it automatically cancel your check out?

If you want to propagate the changes you made you can do a Check in which will automatically remove the check out.

If you do not want to Propagate the changes you made, but you want to cancel the Check out option you can use the Undo Check out option.

Ron,

It will do that by default. You will also have the option of checking the file in and keep it checked out in your workspace or to check it in and remove it from the Workspace altogether.

Well apparently we are having some issues with our testing. When we check in a modified object it is not canceling the checkout. Further it will not cancel a checkout we have to remove it from workspace in order to cancel checkout. Creo1 M30 and Windchill PDMlink 10.0 not sure of buldcode on it.
