Has anyone has any Windchill java script issues with users that have a roaming profile?
For some time, we have been investigating a mysterious java script error that affects only a few users.
When a user goes to any Windchill web page that displays a list of objects (ex: workspace contents) the user gets a cryptic error about a file that does not exist. But it never says which file. After closing the error pop-up, all of the static elements of the page are displayed, but none of the dynamic content. That is: The list of objects.
Today, we discovered the commonly as to why some users are affected and others are not.
Only users with roaming profiles are affected.
Their profiles are stored on a network server/share.
We suspect that the "non-existent" file is referring to a browser cookie or something similar that java script cannot create or write to.
Any advice?
P.S. Please do not ask why we use roaming profiles.
Roaming profiles are required for reasons that I cannot discuss.
