Windchill PDMLink 9.1 with Pro/Engineer WF4:
Is there a way to set a revision level for a CAD document other than "Creating a Revision?"
Much of our migrated data (from Intralink) revisions are incorrect and need to be adjusted (most of them multiple revisions forward, but some of them backward). I've seen macros or permissions in other softwares that allow an admin to "set" the revision level of a line item, similar to how it is possible to "Set State" in PDMLink.
Can this be done with revisions, even if it is some kind of "back door macro?"
Hi Ryan,
I am thinking that might be possible when you are checking in a CAD document with Pro/E.
In one of the check-in screen, the one where you set the location, you can set the revison too.
I think that some admin access-rights are nesessary and the new revision has to be right.
Damien.
