hi,

I've just switched from 15+ years deploying/developing Teamcenter deployments and have now switched to a company that is a PTC customer.

 

What would you recommend reading/looking through to get started? i'm currently going through the install and sizing guidelines so that i can understand the architecture.

Welcome aboard. Been some time since you posted but how are you making out.  Windchill can be a beast like TC. The customizer's guide is good but some of the examples and topics are rather deep. I like to stay around the edges. Listeners, Reports (QueryBuilder), workflow coding are good places to start. The API docs are good but you'll find that there is more than what is documented. Not sure what TC is coded in but brush up on your Java and JSP.  How is it going do far? I'd be interested to get your thoughts for comparison.
