The CAD Document associated from the Upstream Branch doesn't transform to the Downstream Branch

I am using Windchill MPMLink Release 13.0 and Datecode with CPS 13.0.2.2

The associated CAD Document (owner) is not moving to the Downstream Branch.

Hi @KERanck,

Please refer to the following article to enable the functionality

Hello KERanck,

Is the kb article CS218496 shared helpful somehow ?

KR,

Charles.

No, this is not really that helpful. It doesn't answer my question. I want to know if the CAD Document is supposed to transform from the upstream view to the downstream view. Is it just a preference setting or does something else need to be done?

Based on the linked article, the CAD is not carried to the downstream view when using 'new downstream branch'.  Changing the settings listed in the article will turn this on.

Hi @KERanck,

As per your post, you are indicating that the owner link is not being carried forward when a new downstream branch is created.
The referenced article explains how to copy the link.
By default, the link is not copied. however, once you enable the property, it will be carried over.
Have you tried updating the property?
