Using windows_browser_type=ie_in_sep_process with Windchill 10.1

We are usingCreo 2.0 M040 with Windchill 10.1 M040 and IE 9. I would like to set the config.pro option windows_browser_type=ie_in_sep_process when working with the IE embedded browser. Has anyone tried this setting, and how stable is it when working with Creo 2.0 M040, Windchill 10.1 M040 and IE 9?

Best Regards

We have been fighting server unavailable messages with both 9.1 M050 and 10.1 M040 and both IE8 and IE9. So far the "ie_in_sep_process" seems to give the message the least, but it does still occur occasionally.

With the config set this way, IE will run in a process named "ptc_ie_server.exe *32".

At this point I haven't noticed any other difference between the in/out of process option.
