WVS Publishing Fails

Version: Windchill 13.0

Use Case: Need to check in part from worker machine to windchill. > On Windchill UI, under WVS Job Monitor, publishing fails. Encountered these errors from job log: - Error from Creo - Registration with server failed : Windchill license validation failed - CadAgent Returned: $ERROR$ Error from Creo - Registration with server failed : Windchill license validation failed

Description:

Encountered these errors from job log:
- Error from Creo - Registration with server failed : Windchill license validation failed
- CadAgent Returned: $ERROR$ Error from Creo - Registration with server failed : Windchill license validation failed

I have already followed this article Article - CS288647 regarding license requirement for CAD integration with windchill for the error messages listed above.

A PTC support questioned if CREO is able to open the part from the workspace and I am encountering crashes from opening the part (PTC Support hasnt contacted back). The part is a simple square extruded to make a box, nothing complex.

PTC article suggested to remove shade from config.pro but I dont have that listed within config.pro Article - CS222858.

Any ideas for either why the WVS Monitor fails or for CREO crashing from opening a simple part? - Are they even related?

Are you using $USER in auth.properties?

The auth, properties file is currently set up with only the wcadmin. Should I also include the test user that I am using?

If this is the case, then wouldnt this mean I would need to add all the CAD worker users username/password on the auth.properties file?

No, using the wcadmin is fine. We had seen in testing if you used the $user variable, then every user would have to have a CAD license.

Okay sounds good let me give that a try. Within the file would the format be?...:
auth=$USER

https://support.ptc.com/help/windchill/r13.0.2.0/en/#page/Windchill_Help_Center/WVSPrintManagement/WVSVisualizationFormbasedAuthentication.html

That would be the syntax, yes. What does the methodserver log say about the wcadmin user?

Have you launched Creo on the worker machine to verify you can register the server with no prompts (no warnings etc)?

Within the methodserver log, for auth.properties file being auth=wcadmin:<password>. The only thing worth noting is this warning:
[ajp-nio-127.0.0.1-8010-exec-4] com.ptc.windchill.upgrade.updates.IncrementalUpdate wcadmin - The source version set does not have upper bounding for incremental update CheckDateInconsistencyOfEPPObjects

As for the Worker machine, the server is connected without any issues. No errors either. I was also able to check in the basic part I created. But from there the WVS job monitor continues to fail.

UPDATE: from changing auth.properties to auth=$user
The job monitor did not go straight into FAILED state, it had a couple minutes of 'EXECUTING'. The job log also produced a different error:
Failed to register Windchill server "https://nelmprod.terrestrialenergy.com/Windchill " "publish10263390126414768617tmp" - -4

I checked in creo when this was being published and a workspace was created which mirrors the name from the error above "publish10263390126414768617tmp".
