Where Oh Where did my server go.

I am working on installing Ilink 3.4 and WF4 on a new lap top. Things were
going fine. Client loaded no problems, WF loaded no problems, Client runs
and can see common space and is working by all thoughts pretty well. Client
will even launch WF however when launching either with or without a
workspace no server ever gets registered. I tried manually going to add the
server and I can not get it to see the server no mater what I do. Does
anyone have any ideas?

Great! Some form of 64 bug, maybe someone will have a solution. I have
this on another laptop running Win 7 64 bit and it works fine there.
However on this new laptop also with Win 7 64 bit it is failing me.

Working on Lenovo thinkpad W701 Win 7 64bit, Intralink client M050 and WF4
M170x64

Not working on Dell M6600 Win 7 64bit, Intralink client M050 and WF4 M170x64

My next attempt will be to go to ILC M062

These computer things can really ruin a day.

You can install the 32 bit version of Pro and it should work. We are running XP 64 with the 32 bit version of pro without a problem.

Ron,

Since I have a near identical setup, I decided to play around with things a bit and found that you can reconnect to your workspaces if you put in 'ilcs://' (without the single quotes) as your server location under the Register New Server option in the Server Manager window of WF4. I am assuming that this is what you wanted to do.

Running WF4 m190 and Ilink3.4 m062 on a Lenovo W700 with Win7 64-bit.

Dang this is making me nervous. I've got my personal notebook & desktop
(Win7-64bit) running Ilink 3.4, obtaining licensing via VPN, with no
apparent problems... My IT people grilled me several times about Win7/64 &
I told them "no problem!". hahaha

Hope I was right. 😃

Joe S.

I have tried as suggested by Lawrence below and still no luck. Even before
his suggestion I had given it a whirl. I will say it is acting different
today than yesterday. Today I plug that in and hit check and it does
nothing. Yesterday I put it in and it came back could not be found. Today
I put in garbily_gook hit return and it fills the line with
ilcs://garbliy_gook ....yesterday I did this and it filled the line with
