We are in the process of test migrating 6 intralink 3.4 servers into one WC Intralink 10 deployment. We are an international company with currently 2 intralink servers in the US, both of them have some ITAR projects. The other servers are located here in Europe. The central management of the new intralink deployment will be done here in Europe, with a bunch of replica servers on the remote sites. We are looking at our possibilities on how we will work with this ITAR data.
Anyone likes to share how they handle this, I'm sure a lot of international companies have the same issue. Do you work with separate products to contain the ITAR data? Do you work with Security labels? How do you handle the replication & visualization?
If security labels are an option to you in Intralink, it is one of the reasons they were added (to Windchill Technology/API). Someone at PTC can confirm this, but that is one reason I have used them.
