Login on a replica server?

Is it possible for a users to access a replica's web server for Windchill login & access?

In other words, instead of using http://wcmasterserver/Windchill , can remote users go to http://repsite1/Windchill ?

For the fun of I tried. I do get prompted fro credentials, but nothing is accepted.

Even if this were possible, would it improve performance for the remote users?

Gerry,

The replica server is only a lite version of windchill when installed. It does not have any users in the LDAP and the LDAP is only installed so that the replica can use the adaptors to communicate with the Master server. You will not be able to login into it, like you would on the master as you found out when you tried. There are several other ways to improve performance for remote users, including indexes, property settings, and etc. I recommend working with PTC for those performance settings

The answer is No .
The Replica are the services that run on the background and you can access
the replica server's only through Master.
