Windchill PDMLink - Document Routing

I want to route documents using Windchill PDMLink specifically for the purpose of approval, or just notification for new or changed documents.

Users on the routing list require;

  • functionality to enter comments
  • vote approved or disapproved
  • vote reviewed.

Can anyone suggest how I can accomplish this and provide instructions on how to configure the process?

I am currently using Windchill PDMLink 9.1

Michael,

For PDMLink you can use a Promotion process (9.1 - Actions > Promote). Custom workflows can be defined to be used for this process.

Routing can only be performed in ProjectLink.
