Windchill Password Recovery

Hello,

is there a way to enable a password recovery in Windchill.

So when a user forgets his password he can click on a link to get  a new one to his registered mail?

You can configure Microsoft Active directory with Windchill so, you don’t need to remember 2 password for Windchill and windows login.

Once active directory is configured with Windchill you will be able to use your windows credentials for Windchill login.

Thanks for reply. However I was aware of this and for sure it would be the best.

But just imagine for some reason that's not possible ?

As Chris explained here (Re: Working with WC Pwd Policy (Pwd Expiration)), WindchillDS is based on OpenDJ and there are lot of capabilities and online resources where you can lookup for information.

I think it we can create a JSP page, use Info*Engine webject to update the password.

Even though I haven't tried, self service feature of LAM, it  should work for WindchillDS as well - LDAP Account Manager Pro | LDAP Account Manager.
