Hi All....one more question.....is there a special license that we have to use for the Pro/E worker? We were trying to add a second license thinking we could move one of our Foundation Adv. over to the worker....but it really didn't seem to like it very much. It looks like we actually need a ProE_FoundationVis license. Is this the case? Mike -
Michael, The FoundationVis license is free from PTC, IF you own WF5 (CREO.elements/Pro) seats and are using the visualization package with PDMLink. This license is specifically for your visualization machine. Talk to your PTC rep about getting this license. We use it for our CAD worker instead of one of our other production licenses (Flex3C, etc.). Mike

No that is not the case. A Foundation Advantage license will work good. Here we use a ProE_FoundationVis and a ProE_FoundationAdv license.

How do you get two workers on the same machine to have their own workspaces? We have the licenses working but receive a cache error when starting the second proe session.
If you are using PDMLink then you get the first worker for free...it is a PTC part number that your sales rep can order for you. Any additional workers will cost you soemthing like $5000 per worker..
