displaying an existing section in a drawing modifies according solid

Hi there,

we have some solids in our PDM, which are already "released".

My collegues want to create some drawings for those solids. Unfortunately, Creo asks the users in some cases for "check-out" of the solids, when the user wants to display a section in the new drawing.

It seems, that only "offset-" sections are affected.

Is this a regular behaviour of Creo?

Is there another workaround except locking the solid within the workspace?
