We are working on redesigning a capability in Windchill called "Search-pickers". This is the module that gets used when you or your users are "looking for objects" in the system while completing day to day tasks. E.g. while creating a new "change request" you want to add "affected objects" to it OR you or your user wants to add some business objects to a baseline so you need to look up for these objects in the system.
Our objective is to provide a UI which would be easy to use and would give you what you or your users are looking for without losing focus from the main task window.
