wc 10 m030 problems?

Hi All!

Testing wc10 M030 now and run into the problems with very basics: can not approve promotion or ecn/ecr. Complete Task returns an error:

ATENTION: Requred Information is missing

You must specify valid information for all required fiels indicated by an asterisk (*).

No matter what I do it doesn't go away. So promotion never completes (unless I force it through process mngr)

Have you seen this? I opened a ticket with PTC TS, but as always you guys might beat them

Same thing happens on 10M020.
I have found out a couple of things....
1- if you shutdown IE and reopen, login, and go right to that task, it works
2- Sometimes if you go back to your homepage and back to the task it works
3- Seems to be more likely to happen when you start opening windows from the task window using the middle mouse button to open a new tab. Happens in both IE8 & IE9, less in IE9.

We use a custom CN where we have an approval process in the ECN Task. It happens both in the task approval and at the audit completion. I do not know of having the problem in our ECR process yet. And no, I have not opened a call yet. I've had too many other issues to open this one up yet, especially when I cannot get it to repeat all of the time.

Known issue in 10.0. Just doing a refresh has worked for me.

What browser are you using? I am on IE7

Hi,

I've seen this before and happens only on a firefox for me. I tried in IE
and it seems to be working fine.

There is a SPR on this based on Firefox browser. Please check this on an IE

Let me know if that works

If the problem is only on IE (regardless of version, and working properly in FF and Chrome), try going to the Tools/Internet Options/Advanced tab and clicking "Reset"

I have run into some odd issue on occassion where an IE setting has gone haywire and, for some reason, would not send/receive form information properly. The "reset" has consistently corrected this issue - definitely worth a try...
