CREO - color of open quilt edges

In CREO 1 and 2, Is there a way to see a different color on open quilt edges while in shaded or shaded with edges view?

See images below. In shaded view, NO edges show up if an edge lies on a surface. In shaded with edges, solid and open quilt edges are the same color. Wireframe and no hidden views show the quilt edge in the chosen color but I prefer to work in shaded view.

Easy answer: Go back to WF4.......

Dunno if this option is valid for creo 1 or 2, but there is a way to show surfaces in the older purple/yellow style. Can't seem to find that option now, but i have it set that way.

(...assign transparency to the solid objects)
