ASSEMBLY COMPONENTS

I HAVE 4 COMPONENTS 3 OF THEM ARE CONSTRAINED TO THE 1 DEFUALT COMPONENT. I DELETE THE DEFAULT COMPONENT AND AND IT ASK TO DELETE-SUSPEND-FREEZE THE CONTRAINST LEFT WITH THE 3 COMPONENTS LEFT. THEN I TRY TO RE-ADD THE MISSING COMPONENT AND RE-CONSTRAIN THE 3 COMPONENTS AND I CANT. MY DEFAULT COMPONENT THAT I DELETED THEN RE-ADDED KEEPS DISAPPERING EVERYTIME I TRY TO RE-CONSTRAIN MY 3 COMPONENTS? WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

When you bring the default component back into the assembly you need to move the other three components after it to redefine the constraints.

look into the help about parent/children relations. Use master references to asssembly, like datum planes, axis, points, coor sys from the assembly (or any other that does not belong to any component, but to the assembly per se). Other that surfaces of featyres from the parent component. If you assembly a component to another (mates, align, insert, tangent, etc), that component will depend and require the previous component to determine its posittion at all time. Look up this information better in pro/e help tool
