Animation issues

Has anyone found it beneficial to createthe Ground Body as a sphere at 0,0,0 turning it off visually and then animating parts around it?


I am having some "interesting" glitches asmy assembly rotates 360. It appears that Pro is deciding to re-center the data at random points as it rotates and parts translate to "assembled" positions.


In other words, does having a fixed ground part acting as the achor within the model space help alieviate these repositioning glitches?

A way long time ago before there was even an animation package, we did this with relations and exporting tiff's. To get the model stable we had to do just what you're talking about. We made it 10 or 20 times larger than the entire assembly.

It's worth a try.
