Good afternoon, the part axes and planes are hidden by default when added to an assembly, and I can't find a way to unhide them. Is there a setting in the configuration that could be the cause? I am using CREO Parametric 8.0.5.0. Thank you!

Hi,
I unzipped panel.prt.zip once again in empty directory, opened asm0001.asm and applied my solution. It resolved your problem.
Use feature info to query if a given feature is included in any model layers (part/assembly). If they are on a layer check the layer display to see if it is hidden. If hidden, show the layer. The features may be added to layers automatically if layer rules are in effect when creating them.
Thank you for your reply, @tbraxton . As far as I can tell, it is not part of a hidden layer.
When you use this query none of the features in question are in a layer? You may have to scroll down in the info window to see the layer information. Can you post the models or at least the layer tree of the active model with the problem and the results of the feature information query executed as shown below?
What happens if you set the visibility to shown for Axis 1?
In Creo 8 the design items functionality supports custom groups are the datum features being added to the default custom group and is that group hidden?
Show/hide does not appear as an option for Axis 1. I can select "Unhide All," but it has not effect. I've tried attached a simple two-part assembly to illustrate (and see if it functions the same for you). Thank you again!
Hi,
panel.prt does not contain A_1 axis.
Please read my reply in https://community.ptc.com/t5/3D-Part-Assembly-Design/Part-s-datum-cannot-be-shown-in-the-assembly/m-p/886099#M129947 discussion - maybe it helps you to resolve the problem.
