Dear all,
We are currently working on large assembly drawings. We are encountering some troubles regarding the launch/reaction speed between the different step of the drawing (view, annotation, ...) during the creation. We see that the multi-threading is usable from the version 5.0 so can we have some advices to improve our process?
Many thanks in advance
Many thanks for your quick reply. I will try those solutions !
You may share some inputs if any of the suggestion work for you Or if you found any other option to fix.
Shred article CS20577,
Hi, that article page has not-found error message, does it happen to you too?
Seems to work fine for me. To see the entire article, you will need a ptc support login with appropriate access.
But even without that you should be able to see some of the article.
You could try using drawing representations. If this is a multi sheet drawing, this gives you the ability to not show certain sheets or views on sheets. This way you only open and work on what you need to.
If the drawing was made prior to Creo 4 you are going to want to add
hlr_multithreading to yes
to the dtl options
Beyond that you are going to want to look into drawing reps and assembly reps.
