I created some models in creo elements direct express which I saved as stl files and would like to convert them to 2D drawings in Creo Parametric. Is this possible, and if so how?

As for STLs in drawings, I'm not sure now. With Wildfire 3.0 I remember being able to select edges and faces of STL models for placing dimensions, but now with Creo/5.0 I can't do it. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Thank You, Where can I find "Get Data, Import"?
Thanks, Is there a way to create a drawing from the imported stl file?
Yes
STLs are made up of many triangles (possibly thousands) so if you must have a drawing, but can't re-model the part, then set your drawing views to shaded, meaning they will be colored and shadowed.
You would make a drawing for the STL part as you would any part. Have you made a drawing in Pro/e before?
No, I'm brand new to the software.
