Creo 4.0 M130 not responding when using flexible modeling?

I use flexible modeling frequently for my work lately using the offset geometry or edit radius commands have been causing my program to not respond and ultimately end up crashing with this error message. I've been wasting lots of time due to these crashes and some insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks

These kinds of problems are best handled by PTC support. They will want to know if you can duplicate the problem and if so, they will want the files to see if they can duplicate the problem. If so, they may be able to find the problem.

It's even better if you can make the problem happen on simplified geometry. 

Its really difficult to help with no data.
