Creo Parametric 2 missing functionality of Wildfire 4??

We are in a situation where schedule is being impacted in a bad way. Cabling designer believes that capabilities in Wildfire 4 have been lost in Creo Parametric 2. Things he could do in Wildfire 4 can no longer be done with Creo Parametric 2. Is that known to be the case?

Creo's cabling works quite different to Wildfire 4. The main diff and confusion was the switch to not really doing 'auto-route' at the end. Instead the workflow routes between the entry ports and you then tell the system how to route the internal connection. The philosophy was reversed for sure.

I don't think there was any *lost* functionality, it's different not lost.

If there is a specific claim, i'm sure some of the community would reply to that.

Hi William,

As per Chris comment yes there is slight methodology in which the creo behaves compared to Wildfire 4, you can ask you queries specifically, so that you can get appropriate answers as per your requirement.

Regards,

Syed
