We aren't on Creo yet, and I am wondering if there have been any changes / enhancements / improvements to ModelCheck in Creo 2.0?
It doesn't seem like there haven't been any major changes with this since PTC bought it from Rand many years ago...

There has not been any major updates to ModelCHECK in Creo Parametric 2.0. Some new checks are in place but not a major overhaul.

This is exactly what I feel. MC was not improved very much in the last years.
Who is current product manager for ModelCHECK at PTC?
I have been in talks with the current Product Manager at both the user event and Technical Committe meetings for some time now. There are talks to add some functionality to MC, based on MBD requirements, but I beleive it is safe to say that PTC is of the opinion that ModelCHECK will not be overhauled because it is not a licensed module. On the other hand, I am of the opinion that more organizations would be willing or would entertain such a change IF ModelCHECK was updated and more usefull.
Corey,
do you know the name of MC product manager?

I see Sigmaxim has a competitive product now: SmartUpdater. I think it used to be called SmartChecker. Looks a lot easier to use, although I have no experience with it.

I think, Sigmaxim is "just" a reseller of B&Ws SmartUpdate (http://www.buw-soft.de/index.php?id=smartupdatewizard&L=3).
Also INNEO Solutions has such a tool - it's called GENIUS TOOLS Model Processor (http://www.inneo.co.uk/product/genius-tools-model-processor/).
Is there an updated ModelCHECK manual (Help Topics) since Wildfire 4? If so does someone have a link to this?
In case CS60927 PTC says they aren't available past WF4 and to go to the Help Centers. Though, I've found individual help topic papers around for Creo View 1.0 and Import Data Doctor 1.0. In general ModelCheck didn't change that much as previously stated. Not enough for the guide to be obsolete completely, just a few minor new functions.
PTC lists out some of the changes to ModelCHECK in this presentation from case CS98190:

A lot of what would be in Help Topics are now just in Help, which also has Modelcheck Teacher.

Fortunately the help centers for each version are all available online if you have active support.
