Define Piece Part

Define Piece Part

In NX there is a option as 'Enforce Piece Part'. By this option it will not be possible to add any other part/component so that resulting part will be only piece part, not an assembly part.

Is there any similar option/preference available in Creo?

NX is a different architecture than Creo.

NX allows multi-body parts, Creo does not.

NX uses a single file extension (.prt), Creo uses multiple extensions (.prt, asm, .drw, etc.).

There is no need for this option in Creo.

No. Creo does not support multi-body parts so this concept is not valid.

Hi @StephenW,

Thanks for the reply. I have attached a short NX video as a example.

I won't download a video due to security issues.

Creo does not allow multiple parts in a part.

Hi @BenLoosli,

That clarify everything, Thank you! Smiley Happy

Can't we mark more than one reply as solution?

No, you can only mark one as the solution.

I would mark Ben's as the solution since it is the most clear explanation.
