Dimensioning a circular hole pattern

This is another of my mental blocks. I have some hole patterns made with Axis.

On the drawing I show centerlines and get the pitch circle nicely shown.

I would really like to Create a diameter dimension with arrow leader on each of these circles but cannot pick the circle in Create Dimension tools.

If I Show All dimensions and Keep the Required dimensions then one circle ( 50 dia) is sensibly dimensioned but the other is hopeless - picture below:



I cannot seem to pick the circle with any selective Show option.

I must have done this many times but cannot see what could be wrong.

Are you developing your first hole on this pattern as a radial or diameter
hole? If you do that you will automatically have a dimension for the "pitch
diameters." I would prefer to call them BOLT CIRCLE diameters. This "may" be
one of those occasions where feature creation is critical. Using the hole
feature based on an angle and a diameter has always worked well for me.

Thanks for all who responded. The list is not too busy so thought I should feedback:

Michael's analysis was spot on. My seed hole on the outer ring had Length not Diameter reference.

When that is fixed, the hole circle diameter can be called up by Show - Feature & View, click (interestingly) any hole (not just the seed) and remove any spurious other dimensions (like the hole diameter that is in the callout note) using Keep Selected on the pitch circe dimension.

Looks like another satisfied customer. All in a day's work here. Imagine
that! I did that all from memory. Happy Day to all of the folks that are
actually looking at Pro/E.
