Hi all,
I haven't done detailed testing - this is just a hunch - but I am working on a "large" assembly and the opening / regeneration times are very long compared to what I am accustomed.
One thing I want to remove from my list of suspects is whether having annotations attached at the assembly level will result in longer regeneration times.
For example, would you expect an assembly that utilizes the following component (assembly of a table and 4 casters) to take less time to update if the 2 annotation dimensions were removed?
The real question is, if it does take a few more seconds, but eliminate model/drawing discrepancies, is it worth it especially when it comes to rework cost (drawing changes, workflow approvers, ect...) ?
