Drawing: Imported parts

A co-worker imported a part into a ProE Assembly, and now in the drawing, the part is shown in purple and wireframe.
Isn't there a way to modify the look?

Sorry, but it's been awhile since I've addressed this.

Thanks!

I believe those purple components are surface features now because they wouldn't solidify on import. I'd go back to the model and open those components and try to make them solid.

Those are surface quilts. Depending upon your settings file, one shade
of purple indicates one-sided edges, and the other shade indicates
two-sided edges.

One sided edges are those that only have a surface on one side, i.e.
will not hold water, no matter how close it looks like they are the same
edge. Once you have a volume as a merged two-sided quilt, you can then
solidify it.

Note, you can enable hidden line removal on your drawing for quilts
under the view properties. Be aware that printing drawing with HLR on
quilts increases time and file size.

Thatcould be because of Importing data in IGES format and the the model is not Solidified.

First open the model in Part Module and try to solidify it, If it doesn't solidify, You need to repair it with Import Data Doctor Module.

There is some videos in YouTube about Import Data Doctor Module.

Here I'm attaching an PPT I made for my customer.

As per my knowledge IGES will Export/Import the Surface & Wireframe data only.

Iprefer STEP models as it can Export/Import direct Solid Models.

Anyone, Pleasecorrect me if I'm wrong.
