Drawing Views Disappeared Creo 8

So a drawing that has been in our system for sometime has suddenly lost all the views on each sheet of the drawings. the views still appear on the drawing tree but on the page no view can be seen including dimensions and balloons.

Did the views get shifted outside the sheet border?

The views are still in the tree.  Can you zoom out and find them?

Are you using PDMlink? Folder structure management?

Are you sure you have models available to open, like search paths or models added to workspace?

Try opening the model before opening the drawing?

Any possibility of a model rename when the drawing wasn't in session or if the drawing wasn't saved after rename on the model?

We are using Windchill. had the model opened first and nothing changed also no name changes are present. the issue is that the sheet shows the view in the tree but nothing on the sheet and nothing is selectable.

To elaborate on what @kdirth mentioned, If the model has changed, it's possible the views have shifted significantly, that's a good idea to review. If you select the view in the drawing tree, do you see the view border hi-light.

in addtion to that:

Check layers to see if something was hidden along the way.

If you have other versions of the drawing checked in to windchill, you should review the "as stored" version of the drawing that should have been correct (date wise) and include the models "as stored" also to . The models should be out-of-date if any of them have been changed since the last drawing checkin. If it is correct in the as-stored version of the drawing, then review the models that are showing as "out of date" to see if you can find the problem.

Another potential is the drawing and/or the models wasn't checked in correctly after the last revision so that would be a training issue!
