Export the cross section from Creo Model

I am trying to export the model with clip section view, for example there is offset cross section A in the Creo Model, I would like to export the solid model in that state. now its exporting as IGES or STEP without section

You will need to actually create the cross section as a feature, ie extrude and remove material. (You could possibly do is as an instance or just suppress the feature when finished).

Adam is right. Cross sections are states; not geometric.

You can extrude cut in both part and assembly modes for solid models... and trim surface models.

I use this method a lot for shaded cross sections in drawings which Creo does not support. I create a next level assembly and section this for the sole purpose of a shaded cross section in a drawing.
