Extend Datum Feature Symbol beyond reference surface in 3D model

As I remember, PTC has shown at the PTC World 2018 in Stuttgart (Germany), that they will implement the function to extend datum feature symbols beyond the reference surface in a 3D model. I tested this in Creo 5.0.3.0 and it still doesn't work. Has anyone heard anything about the implementation of this function?

I'm dissapointed, this is such a common use case when working with tolerances in 3D...

I guess that PTC added requested functionality in Drawing mode, only.

Hey there.

Yes, I've found this thread, too. Unfortunately this functionality hasn't been announced for the 3D yet. I hope PTC will change this asap.
