Family Table relation

How can i use two different tolerance value by using family table relations?

2 REPLIES 2

Family tables specify values, not relations.

If you have a dimension that has tolerances specified, you can access those tolerances and add them as a column in the family table. For example, if I make a protrusion, the dimension governing its thickness will be named something like d4. If I change that dimension so it has a plus and minus tolerance, those tolerance values will be named something like tp4 and tm4 for the + and - parts, respectively.

If I go to the family table and Insert-> Column, I can select either of the tolerance values to add to the table.

Something you cannot do, however, is specify different types of tolerances. i.e. use a Symmetric tolerance for one family table instance and Plus-Minus for another instance.
