GPU Driver crash

Hi,

I'm a formula SAE team member, and i have just installed PTC Creo 3.0.

My PC has:

CPU:      i7 4970k

MB:       Asus maximus VII Hero

GPU:     Shappire ATI HD 4890

RAM:     Gskil 8gb 2400mhz

HD:        SSD Samsung 850 pro

The problem is that when i'm opening last year car assembly, or a part. A few seonds later, Creo freeze, black screen and than "Display driver AMD has stopped responding and has recovered".

Obviosly i checked for update but nothing found.

Try turning off some of the newer OpenGL features, and see if that helps.  In your config.pro file, set the following:

enable_opengl_fbo no

enable_opengl_vbo no

enable_opengl_shader no

Anyway do you suggest to change graphic card? It's obsolete?

<LOAD POINT>\Creo3.0\MXXX\CommonFiles\text\config.pro. Add the options using a text editor, one per line as shown by Dan.
