Hello,
is it possible to hide an entire view in the drawing?
thanks
Well, kind of.
You can use Drawing Simp Reps which allow you to blank selected views. But they will still be represented by a green frame.
In order to do so you need to set the option 'open_draw_simp_rep_by_default' to 'no' (yes would only make sense if you would want to open a certain predefined rep upon open). With the option set you will be asked to select a drawing simprep when you open a drawing.
Under Tools->Drawing Representations you can now create new simp reps.
The primary intention of these simp reps is for better performance in large, complex drawings though.
What you get is smth like this then
Yes, the "erase view" command will do that without having to use drawing reps. In Creo 2.0 it is located in the "layout" ribbon in the "display" group.
