How to add "Annotation sets" to CreoView file

Good morning,

I am wondering if anyone knows how to export or create "annotation sets" in a pvz file.

I know that simpreps and/or combined states can be included in to CreoView (*.pvz) files bycorrect settings in the rcp recipefile. These are exported as "viewables" to the CreoView file and can be selected under the tab "Viewables".

I have a PTC demo pvz file which has some kind of "Previews" to states. These can be selected under the tab "Annotation Sets" in Creo View - see attached screenshots.

>> DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO CREATE THESE ANNOTATION SETS??? In Creo Parametric, Pro/E or CreoView Lite/MCAD ???

Kind Regards and Greetings from Switzerland,

Andreas

In CreoView do this:

1. select the markup tab
2. markup as needed
3. File | Save Annotation Set

These annotation sets are pretty handy. They can also be attached to an ECR/ECN to further define the change

Hi Steve,

How do you attach the annotations to a change order? PDMLink 9.1 M060

Thanks! Kathy

If you create an annotation on a CAD Document you can then add it on the ECR via the Annotations options. I believe this options also exists on the ECN as well. The help menu should have information on it as well

Hi all,

Our team is working extensively with Annotation Sets in Creo View.

We are wondering whether Annotation Sets can be created in Creo Parametric as well -- and if yes, can somebody pls. provide a link to how this is done?

Thank you
