How to define cladded materials in Creo?

Hi there,

Anyone an idea how to define cladded materials in Creo?

I would like to machine a cladded part and present the cross section including apart hatching for both materials.

My idea was as follows:

1. Assembly of two discs(.prt) of different material.

2. Merge/inherite this assebly in a new part

3. Define the machining in this part and finish the drawing.

(In the remarks the drawing refers to the assembly ID.)

However ..... an assembly cannot be merged/inherited into a part.

Anyone a proposal how to indicate cladded material in a drawing?

Thx

Leon
