How to have different serial no of same component

Hi

I am using a family table library. I want to have different serial numbers for the same component in different assembly in same working directory. Is this possible.

Hi

Yes, you could define the component as a flexible component.

And then, change parameter values (serial number) for each assembly where the component is used.

From a PLM perspective it does not make sense to include serial numbers into a design document.

But that's a different discussion all together 🙂
