How to import .UFF or ASCII text file

I'm working with ME'scope and Creo Parametric 11.  ME'scope can export structure files in either .UFF (Universal File Format) or ASCII Text (.txt) files.  I don't see a way to import either of these into Creo.  I want to be able to modify the parts from ME'scope so that I don't have to re-design them in Creo from scratch.  I know I can import a Parasolid to Creo, but I don't know if selecting that option with the ASCII spreadsheet (.txt) file will work.  I thought I would ask the question before wasting time on experiments that may not work.

Hi @FieldEng

Thank you for your question.

Your post appears well documented but has not yet received any response. I am replying to raise awareness. Hopefully, another community member will be able to help.

Also, feel free to add any additional information you think might be relevant. It sometimes helps to have screenshots to better understand what you are trying to do.

Anurag,

Thanks for your post, and the suggestion.  Here are the options when I'm exporting from ME'scope.  Creo doesn't recognize the .STR file type, so my only two other options are .UFF and ASCII.  I was hoping that ASCII would be similar to a Parasolid.

I need to give a shout out to Patriot_1776.  He suggested starting a part in Creo and saving it as an ASCII file, then pasting in the values from the ME'scope file.  This might work, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet.  I may try that today, if I get time.
