How to protude a perpendicular tube?

Hello,

How would I protrude a cylinder perpendicular from the tube?

I need to protrude the cylender on both ends.

From the picture, I've tried drawing it on the Right Datum, but there is a right way of doing, which I have forgetten.

Can someone help me out?

Thanks!Untitled.png

Hi

Refer the document for different types of datum selection for creating features

If you still face problem ; Please reply

Thanks for the reply.

So, do you suggest using datums to create the part? Or, is that the only way?

Thanks again!

I would suggest another sweep. That way you can constrain the sketch to the original sweep to maintain perpendicularity regardless of what changes in the 1st sweep (within reason, of course). Just make sure the new sweep sketch is constrained to allow it to follow the 1st (no vertical/horizontal constraints).
