Imported STEP files have 3D annotations that cannot be selected or hidden

Hi,

When we import some STEP data from suppliers, we often get floating 3D annotations showing on the assemblies. However, they do not show on the model tree as an annotation, they do not show in the annotations when the annotations tab is selected in the ribbon and we cannot select them in the graphics window.

How do we hide / remove them?

Thanks Remy,

I actually worked it out on my own, in the end. The annotations are actually from the electrical cabling module. If you go into that module, you can undesignate the part and remove the annotation.

hi

lots of different potential scenarii here.

I recommend you file a case and share the step models to Support.

Don't forget to mark your answer as correct.

Thanks.
